Nomad: from 8 hours per post to 1, before the app even launches

An early AI marketing audit for two technical founders in Spain. The figures are projections from the audit, and the page says so.

Quick answer: Nomad, a pre-launch travel app with two technical founders, spent about 8 hours of founder time on every Instagram post and had published none. An early AI marketing audit in January 2026 projected about 1 hour per post, up to 21 hours a week back, with tools costing under EUR 150 a month. These figures are projections, not measured results.

Nomad is a travel planning and community app, built by two founders in Spain. It had no users and no revenue yet. The founders wanted a clear acquisition plan and faster content, without adding to their own workload. This was one of our first projects: an intake form, an interview, a written report and a live walkthrough.

The problem

  • An Instagram account with zero posts.
  • About 8 hours of work for a single post: 2 hours of ideas, 2 hours of recording, 3 hours of editing and revisions, and 1 hour of back and forth. Elapsed time was one to two weeks per post.
  • The founders did not want to be on camera, so recording was the blocker.
  • The positioning was clear to them but too long to land on Instagram, with no hook.
  • Feedback lived in direct messages and memory, with no system.

The alternative on the table was hiring a marketer at EUR 1,300 to 2,500 a month, or EUR 18,000 to 30,000 a year.

What the audit found

  • Video without the camera: scripts written with AI, the app mascot generated as an avatar in a video tool, and light edits only. Five to ten videos made in one batch session.
  • Positioning tested before it is published: one tool generates 15 to 30 hook and message variants, and a second checks them against what real users say online. Projected saving: 4 to 5 hours per messaging cycle.
  • A feedback system: a survey tool feeds one database, and a weekly review replaces memory. Projected saving: 6 to 10 hours of setup.

Projections from the January 2026 audit. They assume the founders publish at the stated rate. Tool prices are January 2026 list prices and exclude setup work.

What the client said

“Ricky helped us a lot and gave us a lot of valuable information. Above all it helps us use our time better, so people can find us on social media and our community can grow.”
Isaac, co-founder, Nomad (translated from Spanish)

How these numbers were built

Time per post comes from the founders' own description of their process during the audit. The cost of a hire is the range the founders said they would pay. Nothing in the plan has been shown as built, so we do not claim a result.
